I'm setting boundaries around my family while I'm home. I hope to one day be able to have a discussion with them about the triggering things they (albeit unintentionally) say and do, but for me right now, being protective of my recovery means reframing triggering comments in my head rather than telling them aloud how it's unhelpful. It's not a perfect strategy, but it's what I need right now. <3
